TESTIMONIAL
"WE ENJOYED A PEACEFUL MAINE COCKTAIL HOUR ABOARD AND THEN WALKED IN TO TOWN FOR DINNER."
“We were making a stop in Boothbay Harbor while cruising in Maine last summer. After looking up some options we found a marina that had recently been acquired by Hodgdon Yachts. We were in need of some help with a generator starting problem and after a quick call where we spoke to the manager Ian Mckay, we headed in. What a great experience it turned out to be. Ian was waiting to take our lines and jumped on board and quickly solved our problem.
We really liked the marina’s easily accessible 750 ft. main dock in a quiet and scenic part of the harbor, but just a 5-10 minute walk to the center of town. So after availing ourselves of the marina shore facilities we enjoyed a peaceful Maine cocktail hour aboard and then walked in to town for dinner. The next day, Ian loaned us his car for an hour so we could pick up some supplies before we headed out to continue our trip. After a week of cruising further east in Maine we made it a point to stop back at the Hodgdon Marina in Boothbay Harbor on our way home.”
